I gave up a baby girl in December of 1969. She is now 35 and we met last year before Thanksgiving. I was able to give her the name of her father and his residence. She met him the next day and since he lives only five minutes away from her he sees her every Wednesday. I have been with her 5 times but we email frequently. So far everything is great but everyone should go slow and don't get too excited because it is a bit of a rollercoaster in the emotions on all parts.

Hey Mike,
I just stumbled on your site while helping my daughter do some research. I felt led to comment regarding your search for your birth parents.
I placed a son for adoption in 1981 and had the immense joy of meeting him on his eighteenth birthday. It was a closed, private adoption so it was up to him whether we should ever meet. It has been a huge blessing not only for my family, but for his as well. It's a long story I would be happy to share in you are interested.

Take care!
