Jordan, Nathan and Hunter

Above is a picture of Nathan and his twin baby brothers, Jordan and Hunter. Jordan and Hunter are 1 year old today and Nathan will be 13 tomorrow. That's kind of cool. Three New Years babies! And two in one shot. Ma and pa, Wendy and Rick (same folks from the Hallowe'en House) are pleased as punch and proud as peacocks. As they should be. Those are some great young fellers you got there.

Aikido

Dec 30, 2002 by Mike Browne in Hmmmmmm | 1 Comment
I need to get back into shape. End of story. I used to study martial arts and made it as high as the equivalent of a brown sash in Pai Lum (White Dragon) Kung Fu. I even had the pleasure of studying personally with the late Grandmaster of the style Daniel K Pai in Rhode Island. I left the style in the early 90's as I moved away from my Sifu (teacher) and never went back. I'm looking at Sowakan Dojo - Yoshinkan Aikido right now. Aikido, traslated as "the art of peace", is a non-competitive softer style martial art. One famous Aikido praticioner is the actor, and apparently not exactly a nice guy, Stephen Seagal.

It's time to get moving again.

I took a picture but it was dark and couldn't get too close and it was dark and rainy. It didn't turn out too well, but here it is anyway:

Shenica

A young girl named Shenica White was mauled by two viscious dogs in Vancouver on Decemember 22, 2002. You can go read her story, or find out her current condition or even find out how to make a donation on the website made by friends.

The dogs are going to be put down, however police (of course) aren't sure that any criminal charges will be laid. Hello?! What the hell? If an animal is viscious it's the responsibility of the owner. There are no bad dogs, just bad owners who either train dogs to attack or don't train them at all.

We're pulling for you Shenica!

CNEWS - News Ticker National - Native leader offers apology.

Frankly, I don't see an explaination as to why he thought it a good idea to spout off about in the first place. A rather empty apology. Kind of like that old SNL skit with Ike and Tina. Ike hits Tina, says, "see what you made Ike do", then guiltily apologizes only to reoffend later.

Time to take away Ahenakew's Order of Canada. He's a scumbag that's only apologizing because he was caught and his actions tarnish the whole thing. Also, he should have his ass thrown in the slammer for hate crimes. If Hitler said he was sorry would that have made up for his hideous crimes? "Oh that's okay Hitler. We know you're sorry." - SORRY MY EYE!
