Yahoo! News - 'Mister Rogers' Dies of Cancer at 74 It's a sad day. Mister Rogers entertained and taught values to millions of kids, myself included. He's hung up his sweater for the last time. We're glad we were your neighbours.

My mom never let me watch Mr Rogers, she reckoned he was a bit of a weirdo. I am not sure that my childhood suffered from this but there you go.

I thought he was a bit odd as well, but always interesting.
And, hi Moselle! How's life in the UK?

Something about the name "Mr. McFeely" just doesn't seem right.

Two points
1. Moselle's alive and well. Good to hear.
2. Mr. Rogers' best contribution to Canadian society was giving us Ernie Coombs a.k.a Mr. Dressup. Now, if even one of you clowns says a look anything like Casey. I'll will sick Finnegan on you in a heartbeat.

Yes thanks I am alive and well (at least I think so). Life in the UK is different. Both my hubby and I commute 4 hours a day which is a bit odd. We are moving to Oxford next month and plan to buy a house this summer with extra rooms to let out to student lodgers.
It has been interesting to witness the congestion charge starting up here. I like this quote from canada.com news "London streets are designed for horses, not cars, and they haven't really changed it a whole lot. I mean, how do you knock down castles?"
That is almost as funny as people thinking that all Canadians live in igloos!!!!
Hope you are all well...
