I'm watching a stream of the Gary Ridgway, the Green River Killer, sentencing on the KIROTV.com site. The families are reading victim impact statements. It's very sad. Ridgway just seems indifferent to the proceedings. How on Earth could someone be so cold as not show any emotion when listening to this?
This man is nothing less than a monster.
The saddest part is the hate that these people, left behind, obviously have. The effects of such vicious acts, even these that happened many years ago, are still obvious and painful to observe. I hope these poor people find some healaing through all this.
The families keep telling Ridgway that he's going to hell. My thought is that he's already there.
I wonder if Ridgway is going to say anything.
Thanks to Pauly for the heads up on this.
Pickton will be charged in 7 more deaths
According to this story the Port Coquitlam pig farmer is now looking at being tried on 22 counts of murder in total. Howdy neighbour. Yikes!
B.C. ferry strike over
Looks like the BC Ferries strike is over. It's gone to binding arbitration. Great. However, this leaves the possibility of the whole thing happening again the next time the two sides need to negotiate a new collective agreement. The way unions seem to be set up now, nothing will ever be enough and people won't be happy until they can have 364 days of paid vacation and 1 sick day a year.
Too bad it didn't play out in court. The issues in this strike had nothing to do with the people who were seriously affected by it and I think the lawyer who was threatening a class action suit should follow through anyway. If this company and it's union don't get spanked over this one it will happen again for sure.

Are you going to hell?
I am. I scored 241 on this test that Nicole (also to be seen in the hot place) sent me. I actually answered honestly so I guess that tells a lot about my dark past. Yes, I am the one your folks warned you about.
World AIDS Day
Today is World AIDS Day. It's scary how such a serious disease has become such a part of our culure that it barely makes news anymore. My cousin, Rob McCall, 1988 Olympic bronze medal winner, seen here with skating partner Tracy Wilson, passed away from the disease 12 years ago.
Elvis and his cameltoe...

Now I'm positive that Jackson hates me.
