DGC days 7 and 8

Jun 12, 2006 by Mike Browne in Filmmaking
Still trucking along. Slept on the floor in Abbotsford at the motel to be used as the next day's set. Day two was a much more relaxed day as we just inside and outside one room all day. B Camera was off to get some drive by car stuff in Fort Langley. My back was sore as hell from my night on the floor. I regretted not taking the room at the other hotel, but I had no car and didn't want to chance missing my call.

A six day week sure does tucker one out. Not to mention the fact that halfway through the last day the dreaded cold going through the crew like wildfire found it's way to me - sore throat, stuffy nose and cranky. grrr!

I'm making good use of these two days recharging my batteries. We're back at her tomorrow morning at 0630.

Mike I haven't popped in for awhile. I was looking through and saw that you're working with Sirish Harman (of course I don't know who that is personally), I noticed that he worked on a series with Barry's cuz, Derwin Jordan http://www.imdb.com/title/t... Night Man in 1997. I can't believe they gave that show 6.9/10. I guess 1997 was a slow year for TV. LOL, it was Derwin's first real paying role so he was VERY pleased when he landed it. He's done some made for TV movies and a Canadian movie, Expecting, last year. Sirish may remember Derwin - he was the black guy.

Glad you're enjoying it!
