Evil lurks on the bedroom floor. Awaiting the perfect moment to consume the souls of the living to feed the demons within.

I’ve spent some time patting myself on the back today. I have finally been able to combine my old NucleusCMS blog and a sexy and fresh install of WordPress. Now I have all of my posts in one place.
One irritating thing however. All of the old photos with the NucleusCMS image display system are broken. In other words thousands of pictures. I have to go through all of the old posts (4000+) and manually convert the url’s for the images to something that wordpress can understand. Not a huge deal really. I’ll probably convert the ones I think are important right away and chip away at the others over time.
Anyway, I’m back blogging at blog.mikebrowne.com, but you don’t have to update any bookmarks because I’ve set up a redirect from mikebrowne.com. It works seemlessly. Nice!
Why did I do this? I needed a guinea pig. Carol’s blog is also NucleusCMS and I would liek to be able to offer her what WordPress has to offer in the way of support, a slicker interface and larger theme and plugin selection. I did not want to just blow up her blog without having done it before. It only took me a few hours to get to this point.
Here’s where I got the instruction and tools to complete this mission:
Thanks Jamaipanese! You rock!

Here’s a couple of pics I took at the Rude Boy offices today of a signed Kiss pinball machine:

Patrick said, “Gene Simmons is such a whore he’d sign anything for five bucks.”
Can’t say I disagree.
Have you seen the Kiss casket?

Nice one Gene. Sigh.

A haunting tune sung by Björk with an amazing video by director Chris Cunningham. Whatever happened to him? He’s dropped off the face of the Earth. Perhaps Rubber Johnny was too much for some folks.

I have seen events like this transpire in person. It’s never pretty and always leaves a mark:
