#Movember 01: Stubble

by Mike Browne on November 1, 2009

in activity,gratitude

It’s here. Movember. I am growing a mo’ (short for Moustache) as a part of a Movember Canada team called Twi’stache Vancouver. We are participating to help bring attention and maybe some money to aid in finding a cure for prostate cancer. If you like you can learn more, give some tax deductible cash to me via my donation page, to our team or even join the team and grow your own Mo.

It’s only day one. It isn’t too late. Yet…

I have shaved off the rest of my facial hair and this is what I am left with this evening (better than seeing my nude face this morning). Some stubble…

We’re going to post a picture every day.

As you can see the shape of my mo’ is most likely going to go 70′s cop as sported by The Beastie Boys in their video for Sabotage:

The fun has begun. I’m even sporting some bad smelling aftershave to heighten the effect for Carol. I think I’ll get some Hai Karate to take it to the limit:

Please give. It’s for a good cause.

Awesome moustache style. I can’t wait to see it grow. Please note: I’m the official Mike Browne moustache photographer for this event. And I take my moustache photography very seriously.

Oh! Hai Karate! I’ll try to control myself around the mystical moustache.

Well this is going to be an interesting month! Can’t wait to see what it looks like on the 30th!

My dad wore Hai Karate, I can’t remember what it smells like, but I bet I’d remember it if I got a whiff! Good times

@Carolbrowne Could you be official mustache videographer? We’ve heard lots about the Van boys Twi’stache team, they need to get a video up on the memelabs video contest site! http://memelabs.com/movember Keep up the great Mo’ work Mike! Best, Kate
