Flames 4 – Canucks 0 (waaah!)

The Canucks lost, and lost badly. Disheartened after a shorthanded marker in the second period by the Flames. The guys just didn’t seem to be there after that. Sad. The Flames played hard, hit hard and maintained their passion throughout the game. I hate to say it (and even though I still hate them) the Flames earned the win.

This kind of play on the part of the Canucks isn’t even acceptable for a preseason game. But this is the playoffs. Not good guys. Not good at all.

Maybe it’s all ‘a ploy’ like Frosty said on CKNW this morning. But I doubt it. I hope this isn’t the momentum that the Flames were looking for coming back to Vancouver on Thursday.
