Our favourite big things included are the Dinosaur in Drumheller (Close to Jim and Jennifer's house) and the Hockey Stick in Duncan. Thanks to Bill G for the link.

The Kamloops Trout is tame compared to what our "illustrious" Mayor almost bought.
Penticton didn't want it...so in all his boneheadism...our Mayor wanted to acquire a nude concrete statue to erect in front of City Hall. What a dick. The Mayor I mean.

Mayor Mel is a bit of a dick - as opposed to the statue which is missing his.

The Hockey Stick was originally on display in Vancouver during Expo '86. it leaned against the giant Canadian flag and pole now in Surrey. I'm suprised that one wasn't there. I believe it is one of the largest Can. flags ever.

I don't know if it's one of the largest flags but it is recorded as the worlds largest flag pole. Its located at Flag Chev at 104 and 152. Not that I know Surrey at all. THe Flamingo Hotel is at King George and 108th - I think.
