Ken Foree, who played Peter Washington, one of the survivors in the original Dawn of the Dead, was answering questions at the Zombie Army Fansite for the remake of Dawn of the Dead. I submitted a question.

I absolutely love Dawn of the Dead and have watched it tons of times. Ken Foree’s Peter Washington was one of the coolest characters in Zombie flicks. Awesome!

Zombiefreak: What was your most memorable behind the scenes moment from working on the original Dawn of the Dead?

Ken: The cool winters in Pittsburgh. And a certain zombie in his underwear turning blue but refusing to cover himself to avoid the zero degree weather.
