Doug Bennett of Doug and the Slugs has passed away. I knew about this on Sunday but kept forgetting to post about it. Doug and the Slugs were one of the first bands I ever saw in concert and they were great. No one like Van Halen ever came to Bridgewater. NS. We saw Doug and his mery band of Slugs again just two years ago and they were still rockin’.
Sad that he’s gone. To quote one of Doug’s more famous songs, “too bad”.
