Hard Candy

With all of the media attention around protecting children from internet predators the film Hard Candy couldn’t be coming at a better time. Variety is calling this award winning movie “…a film that’s impossible to dismiss”. No doubt. Watch the trailer and decide for yourself. I’m looking forward to it. Perverts beware, this ‘victim’ will kick your ass.

Postscript: There’s a strong Canadian connection here. The female lead, 19 year old Ellen Page, also played the daughter of drunkard Jim Lahey in The Trailer Park Boys.
