It's been a long time since I've done a lunch episode so bear with me. Above we see faithful lunch follower, longtime blog reader and owner of hurtstothink.com. Wes and I have been threatening to actually do lunch for years. Finally, last Friday, Wes and I met up at the kegendary Roxy Burger on Granville.
Wes had an idea for an action shot of his lunch, a buffalo burger with fries. Buffalo once roamed the plains in large numbers. Note the ketchup in mid-splotch coming from the spout of the bottle. The little pile below reminds me of toothpastey looking turds on a lawn left by a dog with the runs. His pickle looks like an impaled slug. Yuck. I hope he didn't get sick. I haven't heard from him since.


Wes took a picture of me looking at my mountain of food full of those evil carbs. I wasn't expecting such a large meal. Ithought I might explode like the guy from David Cronenberg's cult classic Scanners. Oh yeah, wait, it was that guy's head exploding and not his guts. Never mind.


It was really big! Not the biggest burger ever, but I'm sure I looked much like this while eating it. The huge stick was hard to choke down but I managed.
