CBC News: Hurricane Juan cleanup begins

I called Mom and Dad this morning and they’re not at home. My bet is that they’ve gone out for a drive, Dad with his camera, to look at the devastation from the storm. I can probably expect to see some interesting photos in the mail.

According to my friend James people are driving the 30 miles from Halifax to Chester just for coffee due to the blackout and that there were hundreds of people in Peggy’s Cove and on the Halifax waterfront watching the storm last night. He said, “Oh it’s a hurricane, we’d better find a good place to watch it”. LOL.
