According to this story the Port Coquitlam pig farmer is now looking at being tried on 22 counts of murder in total. Howdy neighbour. Yikes!

Big Al Mac pointed out something that I had noted on another site. It’s the fact that that Saddam’s capture photos made him look like the Cuban Assaassin from Grand Prix Wrestling in Atlantic Canada and Stampede Wreslting in Western Canada (as Tyler pointed out) during the 1970’s. Perhaps they are the same person. One never knows. It would fit with his vicious profile…
UPDATE: Jackson on the other hand thinks he looks like Karl Marx. Now which brother was he? I don’t remember him. Zeppo? Harpo? hmmmm. Not Groucho?
Perhaps it’s true. Have a look at this (sent to me by Matt). Could it be that his own people were trying to collect the $25 million reward?

I was laying in bed this morning scratching and farting, thinking about the Christmas tree that we’re buying today and I heard Carol yell, ‘What the hell?’ She came running up the stairs. I thought someone had broken in over night. She said, ‘Global TV said they’ve captured Saddam!’ she turned on the TV and we watched the news.
Good news for George Bush’s bid for re-election next year. We’re watching Mr Bush right now. Perhaps this one event can bring a swifter end to the operations in Iraq. Here’s hoping. |
Looks like the BC Ferries strike is over. It’s gone to binding arbitration. Great. However, this leaves the possibility of the whole thing happening again the next time the two sides need to negotiate a new collective agreement. The way unions seem to be set up now, nothing will ever be enough and people won’t be happy until they can have 364 days of paid vacation and 1 sick day a year.
Too bad it didn’t play out in court. The issues in this strike had nothing to do with the people who were seriously affected by it and I think the lawyer who was threatening a class action suit should follow through anyway. If this company and it’s union don’t get spanked over this one it will happen again for sure.
I’ve asked Carol to get me the Trailer Park Boys DVD for Christmas. This morning Nicole was using Bubbles (the character in the middle) as her MSN display picture so I was inspired to do a little post. Being from Nova Scotia how could I resist… I’ve even had contact with a character from the show J-Roc played by Jonathan Torrens (also of CBC’s 1980’s show Street Cents), through a university friend and his ex-girlfriend, Pokey!
Bubbles, however, is my favourite character on the show. Watching this foul mouthed, borderline retarded, 30-something year old who lives in a shed up to his usual antics is priceless.
