Another Space Shuttle Disaster

Space shuttle blows up over Texas. I couldn’t believe this when I heard it this morning. It was happening again. I still remmeber the Challenger exploding on take off very well. This shuttle was 16 minutes away from landing landing and, apparently, just broke up. Another seven astronauts are presumed dead. Among them was Ilan Ramon the first Isreali to go into space. Another sad day.

My sister-in-law, Cathy, lives in Dallas and heard the explosion. She said her windows shook and that she thought it was a plane taking off. She said it was scary.

What the heck happened?

Sunset from Space

Pilar (the boss lady) sent me this picture:

I’m not sure if it’s a Photoshop job or not but here’s the text that came with the picture:

“I thought this was a cool picture.

This photo was taken via satellite, on a cloudless day. Note how the lights

are already on in Holland, Paris, and Barcelona, and how it’s still daylight

in London, Lisbon, and Madrid. The sun is still shining on the Straight of

Gibraltar, and the Mediterranean Sea is already in darkness.

In the middle of the Atlantic Ocean you can see the Azores Islands; below

them to the right are the Madeira Islands; a bit below are the Canary

Islands; and further south, close to the farthest western point of Africa,

the Cape Verde Islands.

The Sahara is huge and can be seen clearly both during daytime and

nighttime. To the left, on top, is Greenland, totally frozen.”

UPDATE: Here’s how it was done… (March 31, 2003)

Bound for Victory

Sarah Kozer, 29, starred in movies such as “Novices in Knots” and “Hogtied,” and a foot-fetish film “Dirty Soled Dolls,” according to the Web site The Smoking Gun. Looks like she’s more of a ho’ than we thought. Anyone who would get their feet dirty for pervs to pleasure themselves over has got to suffer from a sever lack of morals.

Joe Millionaire, I hope you pick her so you can get a big surprise as well. You were already in the bushes with her for God’s sake.

Evil Sys Admin?

He is watching…

But only pretending to be evil. He offered to drive me home after the Canucks (who have a new look to their site) game tonight. Thanks, Tyler!

Here’s a not-so-new spin virus on prevention, but now for the computer…

And how about the resort with the least fun name ever?

Thanks to Enomis in Louisiana for the pictures!
