Carol and I went to her Aunt and Uncle’s place in Langley for Christmas dinner this year. On our way there we saw what was left of the train wreck that happened on December 23rd. I took a picture but it was dark and couldn’t get too close and it was dark and rainy. It didn’t turn out too well, but here it is anyway:

A young girl named Shenica White was mauled by two viscious dogs in Vancouver on Decemember 22, 2002. You can go read her story, or find out her current condition or even find out how to make a donation on the website made by friends.

The dogs are going to be put down, however police (of course) aren’t sure that any criminal charges will be laid. Hello?! What the hell? If an animal is viscious it’s the responsibility of the owner. There are no bad dogs, just bad owners who either train dogs to attack or don’t train them at all.
