The Real FBI Profile

Apperently this is what the FBI really thinks about the sniper. These profiles are usually either right on the money or so far off it’s laughable. This one doesn’t sound too committed to any particular position. Who wants to be wrong?

One renowned FBI profiler is John Douglas. I’ve read a bunch of his stuff. He was interviewed in relation to the Thomas Harris / Hannibal Lecter books.

On Connie Chung Tonight

As serial killers seem to be all the rage in the media again, Connie Chung is tackling the Canadian case of Paul Bernardo and ex-wife Karla Homolka (who is soon to be realesed) tonight. This story still causes a great deal of anger among Canadians. Ontario lived in fear when Bernardo was on the prowl. It should be interesting to see it from the American media’s perspective tonight on CNN.

Alert out for AWOL marksman

France has alerted Interpol about a French army deserter who is known as a marksman and is missing in North America. According to CNN and MSNBC the sniper has an unidentified accent and the audio in message he left was not clear. Coincidence? Probably. Truth is stranger than fiction.

Ka-POW! goes the pumpkin

Oooh! How I wish we had one of these when we were in high school. Big Al Mac (a regular blog visitor) myself and a bunch of our buddies ripped off a bunch of pumpkins and took the works of them and piled them on the doorstep of the NS LC.

Work and Work Out

I need to work out. But when? Who has time to do go to the gym or out for a walk? Maybe the new ‘bike-desk’ from Danish SIS International company from Helsinge might do the trick. The ‘bike-desk’ will be one of the exhibits at the next ORGATEC conference in Cologne this week. The ORGATEC conference is a place for office furniture designers and manufacturers to show their concepts for the office of tomorrow.
