For the last 16 work days I’ve been working as an ALM (Assistant Locations Manager) on another show. The DGC saw fit to permit me (thank you! thank you!) and I had my trial by fire. All in all it didn’t go too badly. In fact I learned a bunch and had tons of fun. Making sure trucks got landed and parked in the proper places, running the PA’s and liaising between the community, all of our shooting locations and the crew was stressful, but rewarding all the same. After many moves (at one point three in one horrendously busy day) we finally settled in a beatiful house in Maple Ridge on the Allouette River for the final six days of the show. The crew spent every lunch time swimming, tubing or just sitting in the river. Very nice!

Anyway, one of the gals was taking pictures of the bottoms of a lot of the male crew members with Dave’s camera. We weren’t sure if mine was there or not, so Justine Bateman volunteered to snap a picture of my rear to help me feel included:

Thanks Justine! Just an FYI, the hand that appears to be grabbing my behind is Jen from the wardrobe department and on the couch beside me is Meredydd the make-up lead who is currently in Vegas at a roller derby convention… no shit.

Look what I got in the mail from Paramount Pictures:

It’s a DVD trailer of Jackass 2 The Movie, which is is on it’s way this fall with all your favourite characters. The bad boys are back to make us laugh at their sometimes painful (both to the performer and the viewer) stunts and assinine antics. I love that they’ve called it simply “number two”. Paramount did send me some cool Nacho Libré stuff prior to the release of that flick with Jack Black, but I was too busy working to post at the time. They even sent me a cool assed Nacho Libré bobblehead:

I got some other shwag too as well as trailers and sound bites. I’ll post more about Nacho later. I’m hearing good things about Nacho too i.e the sense of humour is right up my twisted little alley. I must see it. Olé!
