That’s a wrap…

I just arrived home after the final shooting day of 12 Hours to Live. Although working as a lowly P.A. for most of the shoot I got to help out for a day in the A.D. department as their Set P.A. was ill.

I must have made an impression because I was taken aside by the Location Manager and told that he wants me to train under him to become an Assistant Locations Manager. This will give me days toward my DGC membership as a Production Assistant and a head start in managing the locations department both on set and in the office. I have to call him tomorrow to go over the details.

Also of interest was the First Assistant Director, Bob Crippen, wants me to keep in touch as well.

Good news all around. Things are looking up.
