Daingerfield screening and some news

Remember that TV pilot I was 2nd Assistant Director on in the spring? We had a great time. Last night Michael Daingerfield and company gave a screening for cast and crew of Daingerfield at the VFS theatre.

More after the jump —->

The show looked great and people laughed in all of the right places. It was nice to see everyone again. After all his thank you’s Michael gave eveyone in the cast and crew a beautifully packaged DVD of the show as a keepsake. Thanks Michael. You rock!

The coolest though were seeing my credits on screen:

Too much fun… Michael and the other producers are bashing down the doors of all the Canadian networks with the hope of the series being picked up. It definitely has a good shot. Good luck Michael. weeeee!

Since Daingerfield I’ve worked with John Penhall (1st AD) again on Fire Mountain and am about to start as a TAD and hoperfully DGC permitee on a Christmas movie called The Spiritual Guilt Trip. Also, I got a phone call from another friend in the biz, Mike Bishop, who may need me to be 3rd AD on a zombie feature shooting over the next few days at Riverview Mental Hospital in Coquitlam. Zombies!! Yeah!! If that falls through there’s always more Wicker Man. I got a call for that one last night to go to Bowen Island, but took a pass due Carol’s needing the car for work. They said they’ll call if they need me for the rest of the week. Fun! Fun!
