George Plimpton dead at 76

Plimpton was best known for his writing of ‘Paper Lion’, awesome voice and self deprcating humor. One of my favourite pieces of his writing is the Sports Illustrated – 1985 April Fool’s story of Sidd Finch the guru / one workboot wearing MLB pitcher who’s fastball was recorded at around 167 MPH.
