CBC News: Hiroshima Anniversary
So it ended a war and presumably hundreds of thousands more from dying, but was it the ‘right’ thing to do? When is this kind of force necessary? There’s enough weapons of this kind left in the world to vaporize us all. Why are they needed now? What is nobody had them? Would that change the world? Are they really a detterent as it’s been proven the death penalty is not? Is global nuclear disarmament the answer?
