Matt S sent me a link to :: Making Over Mona ::. DaVinci’s Mona Lisa, apparently, needs a makeover. I saw the real Mona Lisa in Paris when I was there in 1985 and went to the Louvre. I found the sight of her rather anticlimactic roped off behind her leaded glass enclosure. She was smaller than I thought she’d be. The feeling was, “Well there she is.” *Yawn*. It must have been all those Cadbury commercials. I was only 16 at the time and drunk out of my skull. Life is wasted on the youth of this world. I’m sure I’d appreciate it more today. *SIGH*
