Only $33 to get into the body chop – smh.com.au I feel a little faint. I’ve been in morgues and seen the results of autopsy firsthand. It’s pretty grim. I really don’t understand what kind of person would pay money to see that.

I know, it’s taboo. We’re a society of rubberneckers. We really want to see the gore at the accident on the highway and are disappointed when we get there and it’s been cleaned up. But paying to see a formerly live human being sliced and hacked to ribbons (and it’s not done gently)? Come on. There’s no dignity left in that person’s death if the dissection of his or her corpse is turned into a sideshow. How irreverent. Pshaw!
