Six years on the couch

According to this WSVN-TV – Miami – News story a 480 pound woman died after spending six years attached to her couch. Literally. She was still attached to the same couch when she passed away in the hospital after being moved there by emergency workers via a pick up truck. She was only 4′ 10″ tall. That’s pretty much an average of 100 pounds per foot. I’m not intending to be overly cruel here, but is it this sort of case that coined the phrase “couch potato”? What a sad way to be remembered.
