The Mike and Mom Cereal Dilemma

When I was a kid I used to go grocery shopping with my mom. We often had conflict over what cereal to buy. She wanted me to have the boring stuff like Corn Flakes, Rice Krispies and Cheerios. She refused to buy me “junk cereal” which was basically just crunchy chemicals bathed in sugar. I understand now, but I was sure ticked off then. Mom was just being a good parent.
