World AIDS Day

World AIDS Day – 1 December 2004
Yes AIDS and HIV are still around and still killing people. My cousin the world class figure skater Rob Mccall died of AIDS in 1991. It’s a horrible disease. Awareness is a good thing.

World AIDS Day

Today is World AIDS Day. It’s scary how such a serious disease has become such a part of our culure that it barely makes news anymore. My cousin, Rob McCall, 1988 Olympic bronze medal winner, seen here with skating partner Tracy Wilson, passed away from the disease 12 years ago.

World AIDS Day

Today is World AIDS Day. I had a cousin die of AIDS and have known otherss who are HIV+ and suffer from full blown AIDS. This disease still runs rampant in the gay community as well as the straight. There’s a lot of myth and misunderstanding out there so the more we know the better.
