It’s time for the Bloggies. I do this just for fun; to share links, ideas and funny crap with my friends. The folks who have been nominated sure do deserve it. Last night I went through a bunch of the sites that I hadn’t seen before and they are great. Content, obviously, is key to a great weblog and the writing on a lot of these blogs is nothing short of brilliant. These folks not only have talent but also the skill and time to really make a great looking weblog.

Me? I’m notoriously lazy. If I can get by without doing any real work that’s usually the route I’ll take (note: the lack of willingnes to redesign this site). However, I’m not really satisfied with living that way anymore. I feel like I’m missing out. After looking at thebeautiful sites in the best designed weblogs section like WhatDoIKnow, Kitta, Brookelyn.org, SimpleBits, and SixFoot6 I feel inspired to redesign. And after reading a bunch of the others it’s obvious I have a long way to go as a writer as well.

Perhaps I need to look at a new software to run my Blog. MovableType looks nice but doesn’t easily import from Nucleus (my current back end) so I’d have to put the archives for this old fella somewhere else. It could be done. Hmmmmm???
