Mad Cow

Here’s a really mad (and extremely foul mouthed) cow. Make sure you use headphones at work or around youngsters.

Thanks to Todd the PR guy for the link. “LA Times this!”

Website row pits B.C. teen against Microsoft

The giant software company is not too pleased with Mike Rowe’s Internet domain site

As of this writing it appears MikeRoweSoft.com is offline. Either due to MS’s pressure or the massive influx of traffic from all over as this story gains momentum.

2006 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships

Support BC’s bid to host the 2006 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships by registering your vote here.

It would be a great precursor to the 2010 Winter Olympics seeing world class Jr hockey played in Vancouver.

Pauly sent this link along. I had already registered but when I saw it again I thought I should put it on the ol’ blog for others to see.

Family Guy returning

According to Seth McFarlane in this artcile the Family Guy will be returning to TV. Ater the recent huge success of the DVD sales of the first three seasons, how could they resist doing more. Carol bought me thse for Christmas and we’ve already watched all 50+ episodes and plan to start at the beginning again soon. We’re happy campers!

CBS Cries Foul on PETA, MoveOn Super Bowl Ads

Good for CBS. Nixing ads from these controversial organizations is probably the smartest move by a media company in a long time. When I watch the Super Bowl I want to see fun ads like the Terry Tate, Office Linebacker ad from last year.

No one but bleeding heart liberals want to see ads attack George W and touting how socially responsible it is to get naked and not eat animals. Super Bowl is all about America and BBQ’s. PETA and MoveOn would just be out of place – Pinko commie bastards.

Now, if only CBS could convince the Canadian networks to play the million dollar corporate ads and drop the Home Hardware, and Canadian Tire Ads. Ugh!

How to wrap your freind’s apartment in tinfoil

Tinfoil is way too expensive to do this with it. I can just hear my mother now…

“What are you doing? Use what you need. Do you think we’re made of money?”

If you are reading this you are not a geek…

New study shatters Internet ‘geek’ image
“LONDON, England (Reuters) — The typical Internet user — far from being a geek — shuns television and actively socializes with friends, a study on surfing habits said on Wednesday.”

Finally, I’m normal! Wait a minute … *looks at self a little more closely* … Never mind.
