Iraqi Information Minister: Soundboard

Apparently, he’s nowhere to be found. But if you want to hear his fibs you can check out this soundboard.

Flag-O-Rama!

Flag-O-Rama! is a bit much. I don’t get the patriotic tampons and breat pump.

Potted Meat Museum

Chuff sent me this link to the Potted Meat Museum with the statement, “im gunna b sik”. What more can I say?

Wile E. Coyote should be happy to know that he can get himself some canned Texas Roadrunner Meat. No more chasing down your dinner with products from ACME. Just grab your can opener and dig in.

Carol has eaten many different exotic meats. One that’s not in the Potted Meat Museum is zebra. But you can get it here if you like. According to Mrs Swift, the Safari company owner’s wife, it tastesa bit gamey.

We actually ate some ground Bison (aka buffalo) the other night. It was nice. A little chewier and slightly stronger in taste than beef, but good. I’d like to try Bison steaks.

Rob Zombie’s Flick

I can’t believe it. It’s finally here! Rob Zombie’s fans (myself and Carol included) have waited a long time for Mr. Zombie’s The House of 1000 Corpses flick. It opens this Friday, April 11 2003, and will be in wide enough release that we’ll get to see it this weekend. It’s not getting the best of reviews at Rotten Tomatoes, but as this is a horror movie I really didn’t expect it too. of course, there’s only 4 reviews there so there may be more good ones out there. I want to see it regardless. People are likening it to the Evil Dead series for it’s sense of humour and liberal use of gore. I wouldn’t expect anything less from Rob Zombie. Critics, bureaucrats, and nay-sayers be damned. This could be a fun one.

Denial of Service (DoS) Attack

I know this site was slow yesterday. I was pretty ticked off as I couldn’t get to the site myself for most of the day. According to my ISP, the servers there were suffering Denial of Service (DoS) Attacks. Bored hackers I guess.

Baghdad falls; Iraqis celebrate

If things keep going this way it looks like stage 1 of the Iraq situation is over. What comes next may not be so easy. Now comes the power struggle.

Sony puts 23.3GB on CD-sized disc

Sony has come up with a new technology that will probably blow the whole CD burning industry wide open. I thought we were years away from being able to store so much on a single CD-sized disc.
