The cure for cellphone rudies…

BBC NEWS | Technology | Shock tactics for anti-social mobile use

Anti-social mobile phone users could be punished with an electric shock if prototypes from a design company go into production.

Sure! Where do I get one! It would work great on the train.

Testing wbloggar

Yup. It worked. Poor SARS kitty.

Geez! I hope this works. I’m crossing my fingers. I am trying out this new blogging software called w.bloggar. I was using an older version of it before but have upgraded to a new one with many more features. It seems like an extremely cool program and this way I can make good use of more HTML formatting like tables and other neat things. I really like it so far. Some of the other new features are text formatting and colour. It doesn’t allow me to upload a pcture to the database like the nucleus program does though. I have to upload all pictures through FTP.

If you can see the SARS Kitty on the left it worked like a hot damn. I think I’ll use this program for posting things from now on. It seems like a whole new experience. Yippee! To quote one of my favourite characters in Robocop, “I like it!” (That actor went on to play Dr Romano on ER.)

Medal of Honor Candidate?

‘She Was Fighting to the Death’ (washingtonpost.com)

From the way the article reads she sounds like one tough cookie.

The dog ate my breakfast

Carol made waffles with almond butter on them this morning. I was in the bathroom getting ready for work and Carol stepped outside just for a second. When Carol came back in Moosh was sitting in the kitchen licking her lips the way a dog does when they’ve eaten something sticky (like almond butter) and my waffles were missing. Apparently she put her paws up on the counter and snatched the goodies. Rotten dog

Today Moosh is not a hero like the dog in the picture from yesterday’s article. Today Moosh is a brat and Carol’s dog. 🙁

Springer Spaniel = Hero

Sergeant Danny Morgan of the Royal Army Veterinary Corps sits with his explosives sniffer dog Buster after playing fetch with an assault rifle magazine at their base in southern Iraq April 1, 2003. Buster, a Springer Spaniel, was hailed the hero of a British Army raid on an Iraqi stronghold earlier in the day in which he uncovered a huge hidden cache of arms in Safwan. Looks like Moosh’s breed is doing their part in Iraq.

Altered Photos in LA Times

Los Angeles Times – Editor’s Note

Maybe the LA Times can admit to doing this, but it makes you wonder how many other times this has been done since the beginning of this most recent conflict, by other less responsible media outlets.

Photoshopping a picture is extremely easy. I use Photoshop all day everyday and could have done the same thing. It’s kind of scary.

Urine Therapy

According to Elliot it’s “the cure for what ails you”. I don’t want to know how he figured that out. Just a glass a day keeps the doctor away and the girls too.

“Ew your breath smells like pee.”
