Was Hitler human?

A new movie called Max is about to premiere at the Toronto Film Festival. It’s a film by Lions Gate Films starring John Cusak. According to the Lions Gate Site it’s “A film studying the depiction of a friendship between an art teacher named Hoffman and his student, Adolf Hitler.” This should be an interesting flick. It’s creating a lot of buzz already.

Bush and Chretien Meet

It’s a decisive moment for two neighbors. You can be sure that the two will speak of Iraq, our trade relations and border security. Hopefully, the honourable Mr Chretien will come down of his horse and at least listen to President Bush (I know it’s not the real Whitehouse site, but it’s much funnier).

Chretien’s been Prime Minister since Christ was a cowboy and doesn’t hear much except what he wants to. People have taken to calling him the Prozac Prime Minister. “Evr’yding is fine ofer dere!!”

Here’s a picture of our great Prime Minister and renowned tough guy choking a demonstrator who got too close at one appearance by our fearless leader:

Secret Service? RCMP? Who needs ’em?

You can Chretienize a web site here. Or look at a Chretienized version of my site here.

~ Ralph William Simmons ~

Growing up there are certain people who’s kindness sticks with you through the years. Ralph William Simmons was one of those people for me.

Growing up my sister and I spent a lot of time next door at Catherine and Ralph Simmons home. We called them Nanny and Grandad Simmons although they were no blood relation they were very important to us and our two families participated in many events together. My mom said, “It’s like the end of an era.” I agree. We’ll miss you Grandad.

Will Still Miss You

One of my favourite bits from Saturday Night Live is Phil Hartman in 1993 doing Susan as one of the contestants on the German Sprockets version of the Dating game.

Also listen to: susan.wma (22kb)

Sadly, on May 28, 1998, Phil Hartman’s wife, Brynn, murdered Phil in his bed and then turned the gun on herself. The world lost a comic genius that day. His children lost their parents.

We still miss you, Phil.
