Doom 3 finally goes gold!

What does that mean? The game is finished (according to Shacknews) and has gone to the manufacturer/distributor for it’s release in early August. I’ve been waiting (along with the rest of the first person shooter world) for Doom 3 seemingly forever. The time has finally come.
Too bad the release date is during the summer. I’ll miss a month or two of sun. Oh well, my birthday is August 5th in case anyone wants to pre-order this for me. 🙂
