It’s my birthday! Boy am I tired…

Today I’m 36 and am awake since 3:00 AM. Ugh! Thanks asshole neighbours. A pox upon you. It sounds like they’re moving furniture around again. I’m tired and stressed out. Our landlord and strata council in the building assure us that these people will be continually fined and evicted if the noise doesn’t stop. It hasn’t stopped. Perhaps I need to call professional help in the form of a dark witch and have a hex put on these boobs. NOTE: Upon reading these hexes they do seem pretty harsh. I don’t think I want someone’s soul ripped out and stomped on quite yet but ask me when I’ve gone another month without sleep.

I think they’re up to something criminal (as do the police who we’ve spoken with). Perhaps drugs? Gee, do you think? They have visitors coming and going at all hours. It may also be theft as they always seem to be moving stuff around, in and out of the suite at all hours, which they rented furnished. Heck they got in trouble on day one as they moved in at 1:30 in the morning.

Noise Journal concerning suite 306

7/05/2005 02:30 AM – Spoke with clearly intoxicated gentleman in apartment re: loud music in formed about 11:00pm strata policy concerning noise.

7/08/2005 04:45 AM – Dragging furniture and thumps continued throughout the night

7/11/2005 06:30 PM – Spoke with Diane re; noise in adjoining suite. She stated she would send a letter.

7/16/2005 11:50 PM – There was loud music and banging again – a party. Spoke with same intoxicated gentleman asking to please turn down the music again reiterating strata noise bylaw.

7/19/2005 12:00 PM – received cc of Diane’s letter

7/21/2005 04:30 AM – Continual dragging of furniture and banging throughout the night.

7/24/2005 12:11 AM – Vacuuming and banging (continued until 1:00 am)

7/24/2005 02:32 AM – We were Awakened by thumping rave music. I knocked on door of suite 306 and got no answer. I knocked again and left a note stating:

“Hi there,
For the third and final time the building’s strata bylaws state no noise or music after 11:00 pm.
Thanks for your attention,
The Neighbours.
P.S. This will be reported to strata and a fine may or may not ensue.”

7/24/2005 02:35 – 02:52 AM – Music has stopped but there have been several loud banging noises on the wall.

7/24/2005 04:09 AM – More thumping and banging.

7/24/2005 04:27 AM – Television loud enough to hear and what sounds like hammering tacks… (you’ve got to be kidding)

7/28/2005 12:34 AM – Banging, thumping and raised voices (ongoing)

7/28/2005 03:16 AM – Vaccuuming; Carol spoke with female and they turned it off.

7/28/2005 04:24 AM – Noise continues.

7/29/2005 02:30 PM – Diane faxes letter to Carol re: noise to be given to the neighbours and strata

7/29/2005 11:42 PM – Thumping and banging…ongoing

7/31/2005 05:04 – 05:46 AM – Awakened by thumping and raised voices. Person(s) left. Noise dies down.

7/31/2005 – Carol speaks to Sherry in #310 trying to locate Cheryl Element for Diane. Gave Sherry a copy of the documentation to July 31/05.

7/31/2005 11:45 PM – Music again

8/1/2005 – received voicemail message from Diane saying that Cheryl Element has been located and has talked to her tenants warning them that if they ‘did not get their acts together they would be out’.

8/3/2005 03:03 AM – Awakened by raised voices and thumping and banging (ongoing)

8/3/2005 03:06 AM – Ringing phone. Young Asian male arrives.

8/3/2005 03:41 AM – Odd thumping noises continue…

8/3/2005 04:33 AM – Intermittent noise ongoing

8/3/2005 04:47 AM – More bashing. Went over and knocked on the door. A male voice asked if the music was too loud – would not open the door to us but yelled through the door. We told him yes, the music was too loud and to stop the thumping and banging.

8/3/2005 05:13 AM – more thumping and bashing (ongoing as of 08:24 am)

8/3/2005 09:00 AM – Slipped updated noise journal under Sherry (Strata) in 310’s door

8/4/2005 11:26 PM – There was a loud crashing sound from next door.

8/4/2005 11:57 PM – Thumping and bumping ongoing… Raised voices.

8/5/2005 03:39 AM – Awakened by raised voices and thumping at 02:50 AM, noise ongoing to this point

8/5/2005 03:58 AM – Noise continues.

8/5/2005 04:17 AM – Noise increases. Are they moving furniture around?
